Defensive Revolver Florida
This course is designed for those who depend specifically on a revolver as their primary defensive pistol. The course covers everything from muzzle contact to extended range engagements. You will work on various loading techniques with a requirement of 6-10 speed loaders or speed strips. Cross draw and shoulder holsters are not allowed for safety reasons. However their viability will be discussed. Participants should (if they have it) bring a secondary or back up gun and approximately 50 rounds for it, if it’s a different caliber from your primary gun. If you have had that revolver sitting in the safe, dust it off and bring it out as it is still a viable tool for self defense.
Equipment Required:
- Ammunition: 300 rounds minimum for primary / 50 rounds for secondary
- Mandatory Equipment: Sturdy holster/belt, 6-10 speed loaders/strips, 10-12 moon clips, small screwdriver

- Safety Gear: Ball cap, hearing/eye protection, closed shoes, collared shirt (no tanks, muscle shirts, or low cut shirts)
- Course Duration: 8:30a – 3:30p
- Course Tuition: $265
